Phase Convection® is a revolutionary new breakthough technology for soldering Surface Mount assemblies. The X600 is the first oven based on this state-of-the-art technology.
Phase Convection® combines the advantages of Vapor-Phase with the ease of use of convection. Within each of the three levels of the X600, the process is divided into four phases in which boards remain static for an improved temperature uniformity: one pre-heating phase, one soak phase, one reflow phase and one cooling phase. Each phase has its own conveyor which ensures no conduction from one phase to another and are separated with automated closed doors to enable high thermal segregation between heating and cooling phases.
