how to say "虚焊" in English? [复制链接]

we have a problem with"虚焊",I do not know how to say?HELP!

I think is call for "poor-wetting"

It should be "cold solder".

For solder defect, we have category as:

US   虚焊
IS   焊锡不足（通常IS与US较易混淆，多数时候可通用）
SS 连焊
CS 冷焊

The CS issue is very sensitive, it related to the reflow process directly.
And the impact is very sensitive, maybe you got "call back" order and huge cost.

In the SMT trade, I never heard about "虚焊" in English, but you can use "poor soldering" . How do you think about it?
So "虚焊" is our chinese word, in English translating, we can't keep our mind so stupid, we must keep clever.

I do not know much of Chinese Character means. Any way, I supposed it means that after Reflow process and the solder not shiny right? So, most likely to be named as "Cold Solder". With such defects, the Reflow Process of Solder Curing seems like temperature setting got problem and caused the defects.
