Hello everyone,

If you are a SQE, maybe you should negotiate with supplier on product price,can you please tell me what is the key point on it?

Eevery one know that, if you want high price so you should have high quality, and SQE should evaluate with it.As a customer, they can not focus on low price, quality is more and more important.

Hi,I think SQE should know the material market price,it is very helpful for you to work with supplier more flexible.But i think the sourcing engineer should take leader for the price negotiation,SQE should focus on the part quality and the supplier's process capability improvement.If you don't only push the supplier to improve the product by rework or 100% inspection(normally the supplier will accept if they have some quality issue),but to help them to reduce the process scrap(it can really reduce the part production cost),
then i think it will be a great support for your buyer to negotiate with supplier for the price down.
